Eating Out in Keswick
"This is a quirky friendly place for a homemade scone, cake, or soup. Everyone’s welcome again I’ve popped in here for a coffee after a day’s walking with muddy boots, woofs in tow, and felt right at home. Definitely worth a visit if your passing it’s a lovely atmosphere and everyone’s friendly and welcoming."

"This quirkily named gastropub is a popular hang-out for early evening drinks and a plate of grub such as steak-frites, buttermilk chicken burger or '80s-style chicken Kiev. Fancy it isn't, but it's a lively,..."
"Right in the centre of Keswick, The Lion is very proud of its delicious Sunday roasts. If you’re not there on a Sunday, though, never fear, they serve good food throughout the week, too!. With traditional pub grub and a weekly quiz, it’s the perfect local!"
"The Wainwright is a charming pub in Keswick town centre, reopened in 2015 after extensive refurbishment. With the words “We don’t do fast food, we do good food as fast as we can” positioned proudly on their wall, you can expect to find a great range of locally sourced pub grub. The Wainwright has eight impressive real ales on tap so you’ll be able to taste a variety of beers from Cumbria."
"Runners up in the West Cumbria branch of the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Pub of The Year awards 2016, the Wainwright is a small but lovely pub at the end of the pedestrianised area of Keswick. Sit with your drinks and enjoy retro footage of some local walks showing on the TV."
"Pub favourites and a meat lovers paradise washed down with Craft Beers, Wines and a selection of over 40 Gins."
