There is a good lunch menu for day time snacks or meals and the coffee is excellent in the evening this turns into a bar which often has live music playing. "An authentic Italian restaurant, Casa Bella has grown from a small but extremely busy single unit to taking up three shop units on one of Keswick’s busiest town centre streets. The addition of the Gelateria and bar means it's an excellent place to spend some time for an evening for an evening out. The restaurant offers both Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with a brilliant variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options."

"This is one of our favourite restaurants in Keswick it does however get very, very busy so it’s always worth booking. Cassa Bella serves freshly cooked pasta and pizza plus steaks and chicken is also on the menu. For desert, there are gelato’s and homemade ice cream definitely worth a visit."

"On the edge of Grasmere, this tiny, creeper-clad cottage (formerly a pub called the Dove & Olive Bough) was famously inhabited by William Wordsworth between 1799 and 1808. Entry is by timed ticket to avoid overcrowding and includes an informative guided tour."

"In collaboration with Cumbria Tourism, we had been lucky enough to be provided with tickets for some activities at Brockhole. Located a few miles from Bowness and on the way to Ambleside, Brockhole is an absolute gem of a day out for families. There is a real mix of activities on offer for all ages and although you have to pay for parking, there are lots of activities that are free to take part in (although you will be tempted by the abundance of activities on offer that you do need to pay for so be prepared!)."
