"24/05/2021: Called at the Square Orange on the off chance of getting a walk in table as it was fully booked, first impressions we were greated by a young gentleman (chris)was very polite and helpful, took us to our table gave us a little time and came back to take our order. We started with the nachos loaded with pulled pork didn't get a photo as we got stuck right in. Then came the tapas we order loads and it did not disappoint every mouthful was divine."

"15/03/2021: Our neighbors has told us about Morrel's and of course we had walked past this restaurant a number of times but we had never been drawn inside. The menu was however a real treat and we are so delighted that we decided to spend our evening here. We usually dine out once a week and this was a good choice."

"In collaboration with Cumbria Tourism, we had been lucky enough to be provided with tickets for some activities at Brockhole. Located a few miles from Bowness and on the way to Ambleside, Brockhole is an absolute gem of a day out for families. "03/06/2021: We had booked - just as well as Ambleside heaving. Garlicky aroma oozing out of the doorway. Lovely friendly greeting and fabulous service through out the evening."

"Casual relaxed spot that serves BBQ meats, burgers, Kebabs and stone baked pizzas. Again, in high season this place can get busy. The handmade, stone baked pizzas are really good and it’s another that’s worth a visit."
